Safety and Security Services

The school is committed to creating a supportive, safe, and happy learning environment. To ensure this, trained security personnel are stationed throughout the school premises to safeguard learners, staff, and visitors.

General Safety Rules

All learners and staff are expected to observe the following safety protocols at all times:

a. Walk carefully in corridors, hallways, and stairways.
b. Always keep to the right when walking in hallways and on stairs.
c. Do not run, especially during dismissal, to prevent accidents or conflicts.
d. Class advisers (Preschool to High School) must stay with their students during playtime and dismissal until each learner has been safely picked up.
e. Learners must remain in their classrooms during class hours and period breaks, except when going to the comfort room for personal needs.
f. Proper wearing of the BMI school ID is required at all times for learners, school personnel, and authorized fetchers for both security and administrative purposes.
g. Learners are strictly prohibited from bringing bladed or pointed instruments to school, unless these are teacher-approved and parents are properly informed in advance for project use.
h. Learners must be responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings at all times.
i. The school conducts annual fire and earthquake drills, in collaboration with:

  • Baguio City Fire Department

  • DepEd Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM)

  • Precinct-1 Police

  • Quality Guard Cooyeesan Detachment

  • Casiciaco Recoletos Community

These drills are essential for preparing students and staff for emergencies.

Urgency of Circumstances

In case of an emergency or incident involving a learner, the school reserves the right to immediately contact and request the presence of the learner’s parent or guardian. This policy ensures that any concerns or emergencies are addressed promptly and effectively for the student’s well-being.
